Black Christmas is, to this day, the only slasher that has genuinely scared me so if this is done right I’m down. Also I just fucking love Christmas horror in general! level 2 I have a special place in my heart for the Silent Night, Deadly Night series. Especially the 2012 remake because ya know, woodchippers lol. Also Santa's Slay lol level 2 Favorite horror film of all time. I am excited for this just to see how they do it. Nothing will beat the original for me but I welcome their ideas. level 2 If you have not yet, make sure to see Better Watch Out level 2 Funny enough I DON'T like Black Christmas, which is why I'm excited for it! I've always been an advocate for remaking imperfect horror movies with great concepts, and in my opinion that's what Black Christmas is. Looking forward to it either way, I've never seen a Christmas horror movie in theaters. level 2 Not sure why, but the description on BD is giving me the vibes it may have some action/comedy to it with the girls fighting back rather than being offed right away like the original and remake, which I'm actually not mad about. Wow, I thought the 2006 version was bad but it's an instant classic compared to this trainwreck. Horrendous dialogue, completely unlikable characters all around. This movie is just not good. The first Black Christmas is a classic I watch it every Christmas and i love it. This new one however should not have been made. I'm not saying this because its "feminist" or "anti-man" but just because the movie was not great. You could tell that it was orginally going to be R with more blood and cursing and they re cut it to be PG-13 but they did it like tv edits. I'm pretty sure there was a couple of times they just muted the audio. If they kept the R rating and took out a little bit, not all (the assault angle and the song the girls put together to tell the frat guys F' off was good) of the feminism stuff and leaned a bit more on the campy side this movie could have been great. But for now this just felt like a bad lifetime movie.

I'm usually one who will try to find something good about a scary movie, but I can't w/ this one. It's just so boring and bad! Has nothing to do w/ the original movies. Super slow & bad storyline. Just plain. It good! I'm mad that I spent 9 to see it.

It's one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen! The characters are annoying, the story is really different than the original, and the whole concept about how all women are good and all men are bad is really stupid (that's not feminism because feminism is about gender equality, and we all know there are good men and good women as well there are bad men and bad women. I would hate even if they wrote an opposite story about good men killing bad women because both ways are so generic, boring and wrong.
I advise you to save your money and watch the original or the remake (yes, that one looks a masterpiece if compared with this new version. And even the female characters are more interesting and iconic than the new ones.

Black christmas watch online 2006. “Peeping Tom” from the 1960s is a great, proto slasher film, I feel that one gets overlooked a lot. You can see slasher movie elements in it. Also giallos were influential on American slasher movies too. I love “Black Christmas” and I love “Peeping Tom”. 3:21 is what u really came for I cant stop laughing. Excellent movie. Horror movies nowadays could learn a lot from this. Atmosphere and suspense are more important then gore. Pretty good acting too especially from Margot kidder hussey also has such a great speaking voice.
